Shraddha grew up in India. She pursued an integrated BS-MS program at University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy, Centre for Excellence in basic Sciences. While there, she worked on state-of-the-art simulations of Coumarin molecules, renormalisation group for 1-D Ising chains, many body hamiltonians, and quantum cryptography. During her masters, in 2018, she worked for the quantum internet team of Elham Kashefi, at Sorbonne University, and founded Quantum Protocol Zoo, an online repository of quantum cryptography protocols. She started her graduate studies in the Department of Physics at Yale in 2019. She is jointly working with Steve Girvin and Shruti Puri and her work focuses on bosonic qubits and error correction with tailored surface codes.
